The spirit of Remembrance Day is beautifully captured in this full-colour Royal Mint release, 100 years after the historic Armistice that ended WWI.

Design

The First World War took its toll upon the world in many ways, not least upon the fields of Northern France and Belgium. After months of heavy shelling and conflict, those fields turned to mud. But they wouldn't remain that way forever.

Poppies eventually began to grow in the fields. They stood where soldiers had perished, with petals as vivid and red as the blood of the fallen. It's no surprise that the poppy quickly became an emblem of Remembrance ‐ a symbol that is poignantly captured in this full-colour coin.

Mintage

This silver Proof coin is not just eye-catching, but also exclusive. Just 3,500 have been struck. This means that opportunities to secure it are limited ‐ we recommend you act quickly to avoid disappointment.

Packaging

Each coin is housed in official Royal Mint packaging, rich with information and lavishly illustrated. A numbered Certificate of Authenticity is incorporated into each presentation.
