Superb Jack Brabham Cooper GP Replicas!

Sir Jack Brabham AO, OBE (1926-2014) is the most famous figure in Australian motor racing – and one of the greatest names in Australian sport. Learning to drive at age 12, Jack Brabham became obsessed with mechanical engineering. Working at a garage at the age of 15, Brabham soon set up his own business, repairing and selling motorbikes.

Serving in the RAAF in WWII as a mechanic, he began racing ‘speedcars’ in 1948. Having registered a string of victories in Australia, Brabham headed to Europe in 1955. In 1959, Brabham won his first of three Formula One Championships, registering his second in 1960 in the Cooper T53. Becoming the first – and still only – driver to win the championship in a car of his own construction, Brabham won the title again in 1966, cementing his place in the pantheon of motor racing.

Celebrating Sir Jack Brabham’s triumph in the 1960 Formula One races at Netherlands, Belgium and France, the Biante 1960 Cooper T53 1:43 Scale Models form the perfect way to honour Australia’s greatest motor racing icon. With a limited edition of 1,500, this is your chance to own an iconic piece from Australian motor racing history!
